Tesla's Optimus faces stiff competition at Beijing Robot Conference.

The Beijing World Robot Conference highlighted a major advancement in humanoid robot technology. Tesla's Optimus and many other humanlike robots showcased the increasing abilities and competition in this field.

• Tesla's Optimus: Displayed motionless inside a clear box next to Tesla cars, Optimus is touted by Elon Musk to potentially fold laundry, cook, clean, or even teach children in the future. Tesla aims to test these humanoids in its factories to better understand their current capabilities.

• Agibot's Humanoid Robots: Founded by a former Huawei recruit, Agibot introduced five new robots just days before the conference. These robots are designed to function as salespeople, gallery guides, or factory part pickers, with some models available for preorder. Agibot plans to start delivering these robots in batches starting in mid-October.
