๐๏ธ $1.3M Agents Team

Good Morning, AI Enthusiasts!
The demo phase is dead. Now AI is possessing reality.

OPENCLAW
The $1.3 Million Future Agents Team

๐ Whatโs happening: OpenClaw creator Peter Steinbergerโs team showed a bill that looks almost fake: $1.3 million in 30 days for roughly 100 Codex agents. That is about $13,000 per agent per month. The stranger part is the work. Much of it was not pure coding. It was OpenClaw community handling, bug cleanup, issue triage, regressions, reviews, and support noise.
๐ How this hits reality: That changes the comparison. This is not โAI replaces one programmer.โ It is AI absorbing the ugly operating layer around software: duplicate issues, Discord reports, failing tests, benchmark drift, security checks, stale PRs, and user complaints. From one personโs wallet, the bill is absurd. From a company testing labor collapse, it is cheap.
๐๏ธ Key takeaway: If this model commercializes and costs fall, the scary part is not 100 agents writing code. It is 100 agents doing the invisible work that kept thousands of software jobs intact.

OPENAI
OpenAI Is Occupying Malta

๐ Whatโs happening: OpenAI just turned Malta into the first country-level ChatGPT Plus rollout. Citizens take an AI literacy course, then get one free year of Plus. The official story is education. The real story is OpenAI getting a whole nation to learn, work, ask, write, and think through its interface first.
๐ How this hits reality: Malta has fewer than 600,000 people, so this is cheap enough to look generous and strategic. OpenAI gets state blessing, public trust, national usage data, and first-contact advantage. Once a countryโs teachers, workers, students, and officials build habits inside one system, switching stops being a product choice.
๐๏ธ Key takeaway: This is not adoption. This is occupation through convenience. If Malta works, OpenAI will not just sell AI to governments. It will sell the nervous system.
ROBOTICS
Figure Destroyed Human Sorting Labor
๐ Whatโs happening: Figure turned a humanoid robot demo into a factory stress test live stream. Its Figure 03 fleet ran past 64 hours (and now past 100 hours), sorted more than 80,000 packages, held a 2.9-second rhythm, and held roughly 1,240 to 1,250 packages per hour. No cinematic cut. No stage reset. Just robots working through the human sleep cycle.
๐ How this hits reality: The brutal comparison is human sorting labor. A normal warehouse picker or sorter often sits around 300 to 600 items per hour. Figure is already running at roughly two to four times that range, while attacking the parts humans cannot defend: fatigue, breaks, shift changes, attention decay, injuries, and consistency collapse.
๐๏ธ Key takeaway: Sorting work now looks like the first obvious job category to fall. Robots are already holding this rhythm for days, so replacement is becoming procurement, not prediction. This is only the opening lane.
SAAS
SaaS Is Already Breaking

๐ Whatโs happening: Medallia reportedly handed full control to its lenders after private equity firm Thoma Bravoโs 2021 $6.4 billion equity stake was wiped out. This was not just a bad buyout. Medallia was once a top customer experience SaaS platform, built around feedback, surveys, service analytics, and enterprise workflows. Then higher rates, heavy leverage, and AI crashed the seat-based model.
๐ How this hits reality: The uglier part is the debt math. Medallia had roughly $200 million of EBITDA, about $3 billion of debt, and around $300 million in annual interest. The business was not funding the capital structure. It was feeding a time bomb. AI attacked the only thing lenders long thought was safe: recurring seats, renewal expansion, and the myth that enterprise SaaS was debt-grade infrastructure.
๐๏ธ Key takeaway: AI is not only killing weak apps. It is repricing the financial structure behind software. PE-owned SaaS with debt, seat pricing, and slow AI migration is walking into a brutal reset.
