Mistral has introduced several key features to Le Chat, aiming to provide a comprehensive AI solution. The most notable additions include image generation, web search with citations, and an interactive "canvas" feature. These enhancements are powered by Mistral's new multimodal AI model, Pixtral Large, which can process up to 30 high-resolution images per input.
The image generation capability is particularly noteworthy, as it positions Le Chat against OpenAI's DALL-E 3, which is integrated into ChatGPT. Mistral has partnered with Black Forest Labs to utilize their Flux model for this feature, further enhancing its image processing capabilities.
